Act Against Cyber Bullying, Harassment and Online Stalking

Act Against Cyber Bullying, Harassment and Online Stalking

The Issue

Cyber bullying, cyber harassment and cyber stalking unfortunately happens to many people across the internet, and although there are various laws within the UK to protect victims from such, having them implemented is a rarity. We aim to change that.

With respect, this petition is focused solely on helping one particular lady gain the support and immediate assistance of the Huddersfield Police Dept, UK, with a goal to ending the persistent, relentless, torturous, ongoing hate campaign that has been taking place for multiple months online.

The online bullying, particularly of a member of the public who would be, and is considered highly vulnerable, who suffers with depression, anxiety etc; left to continue; would have disastrous results for this lady.

The lady who is known simply as "Stephanie's Teatime" on Tiktok, posts cookery content, she also appears on live screen where she may just chat with her followers, or treat them to a singsong. This lady causes no harm to others.

Every single aspect of Stephanie's life, has been ripped to shreds by online bullies who seem to delight in picking on vulnerable individuals, pushing them to the brink of suicidal thoughts, severe anxiety episodes, insomnia, and draws them deeper into depression. All of which these online bullies delight in online, in full view of world wide web users.

Immediate action must now be taken by the Huddersfield Police Dept. to address the following criminal offenses against Stephanie, offenses that are by UK Law prohibited.

The laws are as follows:

  • Protection from Harassment Act 1997
  • Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994
  • Malicious Communications Act 1988
  • Communications Act 2003
  • Defamation Act 2013

Offenses against Stephanie are not limited to but include the following:

  1. Persistent online bullying, harassment and stalking that has caused immense harm to the victim and her family
  2. Use of the victims personal pictures without her consent or knowledge, which have been posted on a public forum for the sole intention of committing and instigating verbal harassment and attacks
  3. Use of the victims personal pictures of her family, including minors, without her consent or knowledge, which has caused detrimental harm to the family, again posted on a public forum for the sole intention of committing and instigating verbal harassment and attacks
  4. The violation of privacy rights in the posting of the victims physical address without her knowledge or consent, with the intention of instigating and intentionally causing physical, and mental harm to the victim and her family
  5. Directly placing the victims minor child in danger with the intention of causing physical harm
  6. Theft of the victims personal content and the posting of it on a public forum that the victim cannot access, without the victims permission or knowledge, with the sole intention of causing or instigating physical and mental harm to the victim

As stated above the items listed, are not limited, but give a brief account.

We ask that all laws put into place to protect victims of cyber bullying, stalking and harassment are implemented post haste by the Law Enforcement Officers employed to protect the citizens of the UK.

We ask that all readers of this petition please sign and share in support of protecting victims of this heinous wave of abuse committed by adult users of the internet, we also seek accountability.

Thank you.
