Recently during a press conference, the Community Service Centre said they are at risk of losing transportation services for seniors and those living with disabilities if they do not receive the needed funding.

We, the undersigned residents of Prince Albert, urgently call upon the city to allocate an additional $103,000 for paratransit services. This crucial funding will enable seniors and individuals with disabilities to access transit with flexibility during evenings and weekends. It is imperative that our municipality and provincial government take proactive measures to ensure accessibility, allowing our seniors and those with disabilities to maintain their independence and lead dignified lives. Being able to leave your home, socialize and participate in what the community has to offer contributes to someone’s overall quality of life. By supporting this petition, you advocate for a more inclusive and humane community where everyone has the opportunity to access essential transportation services.
