The Carroll County Board of Education is trying to impose a bill that would ban teachers from hanging pride flags in their room. They claim that teachers have to maintain a level of neutrality, and they consider the pride flag "political". Not only is who someone loves, or how someone identifies not political, but Carroll County is spiralling in a downwards hole of hate and negative censorship. A pride flag in a classroom shows a level of support and acceptance to any kid who walks in that classroom. It shows that they are accepted, and that teacher will be a support system for them, without that they have no way of knowing. They are isolated. Acceptance is not political
