NO CROWN ABOVE THE PEOPLE
Today, we stand here for one simple truth:
No family should be born to rule over anyone.
Not by blood.
Not by wealth.
Not by tradition.
And not by a crown.
We are told the monarchy represents dignity, unity, and national pride.
But what does it really represent?
It represents inherited privilege in a world where ordinary people are struggling to survive.
It represents old class systems dressed up as ceremony.
It represents a country where some are taught to bow while others are born believing they should be bowed to.
And we say:
No more.
We are not here because we hate history.
We are here because we refuse to let history keep ruling the present.
We are not here because we reject Britain.
We are here because we believe Britain should belong to its people—not to a bloodline.
We are not here to beg for scraps of reform while inequality grows, while institutions protect themselves, and while ordinary families carry the burden of a system they never chose.
We are here to say that democracy must mean everyone.
A modern country cannot claim to believe in equality while placing one family permanently above the rest.
A modern society cannot claim fairness while preserving hereditary power as though it is sacred.
And a free people should never be expected to treat privilege as destiny.
So today, we march not for chaos.
Not for violence.
Not for hatred.
We march for change.
We march for:
an elected head of state
full transparency
real accountability
an end to inherited political symbolism
a future built on democracy, not dynasty
Let this be the message heard in every street, every city, every parliament chamber, and every palace wall:
The people are not subjects.
The people are citizens.
And citizens do not kneel.
This country does not belong to a crown.
It belongs to the people who work, struggle, build, survive, and keep it alive every single day.
So raise your signs.
Raise your voices.
Raise your courage.
And say it clearly:
No crown above the people.
No power without accountability.
No future without democracy.
Abolish the monarchy.
Build a republic.
Let the people decide.
