Andrew’s relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein seriously damaged public trust in the Royal Family, involving years of controversy and scrutiny in both the UK and internationally.  
Despite repeated allegations and damaging reports, Andrew only lost his royal titles and residence in 2025 after intense public and political pressure, illustrating how the monarchy struggles to police itself without external force.
