Abolish the English Cricket Board (ECB)

Abolish the English Cricket Board (ECB)
The Issue
Cricket has a rich heritage in England, with a history that spans over a century. However, recent actions and decisions made by the English Cricket Board (ECB) have sparked serious concerns about the future of the sport in our country. It's time to re-evaluate the structure and leadership of English cricket to ensure it returns to being a sport rather than a money making entertainment.
The ECB has been put our game behind a pay wall, sold it and the month of August off to Indian and American franchises and installed a sporting director and coach who are not accountable for poor performances. They have moved the game from a sport to an entertainment in plain sight and have overseen the cretenisation of the game.
Moreover, the ECB's financial decisions have raised eyebrows. With ticket prices soaring and a focus on commercial ventures, many lifelong supporters find themselves priced out of attending matches. This commercialisation risks alienating dedicated fans, the very individuals who have steadfastly supported English cricket through the years.
Join us in calling for reform. Abolishing the current structure of the ECB is the first step towards reviving English cricket and preserving its legacy. Sign this petition to demand change for the future of cricket in England.
