I am a Canadian citizen, struggling to make ends meet due to the heavy tax burden. One of the most pressing issues is the Carbon Tax, which has been imposed on top of our already high Harmonized Sales Tax. This double taxation is driving inflation through fuel taxes and consequently increasing the cost of everything we buy.

The Carbon Tax was introduced with good intentions - to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change. However, it's important to consider its impact on everyday Canadians who are finding it increasingly difficult to afford basic necessities. It makes no sense to take away our hard earned money and then give a small percentage back to make it appear that it is equal.  

We already pay some of the highest taxes in the world! Canada is not the problem here.  Canadians cannot fix the global emmission problem and Mr. Trudea is naive to think he can. 

I understand that environmental conservation is crucial but believe there must be other ways to achieve this without causing financial strain on Canadians. We urge our government officials to reconsider this policy –Abolish the Carbon Tax so that Canadians can afford their cost of living. Please sign this petition if you want the Carbon Tax abolished!
