Abolish printing costs for all students at Kingston University and Kingston School of Art

The Issue

Students at Kingston University have to pay for printing. We think this should be free for all students. It is obscene to make us pay for printing on top of ridiculous tuition fees, extremely expensive canteen food and rent/travel costs - not to mention the cost of living crisis!!!

Kingston University generated £219.3m in 21/22 - 80% of this from tuition fees - We're pretty sure this is enough to ask for this tiny reduction in costs.

Vice Chancellor Steven Spier earns a disgusting salary of £352,000 (excluding expenses!) and this amount has definitely gone up since the last financial reports were released. This is all while tutors are drastically underpaid and overworked and students can barely afford to feed themselves.

Many Universities across the uk already offer free printing for students. If you think this massively unjust university should make the (quite frankly tiny) step to make printing free for all students then please sign this petition!!!
