We, the homeowners of Romero Place between the streets of Prado Ln. and Vista Fusco in Lake Forest, are worn out from continually paying for parking violations in front of our own homes. This discomforting situation originated due to high school students parking in our neighborhood. At the time, the decision to instate permit parking seemed like a reasonable solution. However, our local high school has since built a new parking lot, effectively eliminating the need for students to park in our area.

In essence, this issue is no longer existent, yet the problematic parking permit system is. Unfortunately, it has become nothing more than a cause for unnecessary financial losses for us law-abiding residents.

Considering the effectiveness of the new high school parking lot, it's time to reassess this outdated regulation. Let's work with our local government to make a change that benefits our neighborhood and upholds our rights as homeowners. We call upon the City of Lake Forest to abolish the permit parking between Prado Ln. and Vista Fusco for the good of the residents. Please sign our petition to ensure our voices are heard.
