Thank you again to everyone who signed and donated so far! I really appreciate you for taking a chance on me. 

I’m currently struggling w/ making “content”, but it’s 2023, and really the only way to get journalists interested is to have a huge social media following. Sent out press releases to a few places that have done stories on me in the past, but the American press - once a legitimate check and balance on the judicial system - straight-up doesn’t want to explore the topic of Family Court unless it involves tragedy, and even then there is no real investigation into how we can make the system work for everyone. 

Whenever I get frustrated about American apathy, I go back to the Declaration of Independence, wherein our founding fathers acknowledged that “mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” Indeed, many Americans I’ve met over the years prefer to endure all manner of suffering rather than stand up for what’s right. 

Fortunately, it only takes about 10% of the population to get engaged enough to make major social change. In the US, that’s about 23 million people. Obviously one person can’t do it all, but I’m happy to provide a template for others to follow in terms of outreach and education. You need only ask! 

I have no doubt that we will win. All it takes is patience and active engagement with the public. One good article will definitely get the ball rolling, so sending out press releases is what I’m working on now. And the TikTok! I’ve planned this campaign in my head for many years, and look forward to meeting the like-minded citizens, organizers and agitators who will make it happen. Please understand that there many steps to this campaign, and I’m limited in what I can do without more eyes on my case. It could even be dangerous for me and others! Please help a sister out and share the beejeezus out of this petition! I styled it as a resolution that can be presented in city council meetings, labor union meetings, seniors… everyone is affected by this giant social problem.

I believe in miracles and magic and all that, and after 22 years of fighting for democracy (just helping the people around me, really), I have faith that those connections will reignite, and we can start to see the changes that we want to see in the government, which we OWN by the way. We’re not “customers” of the US Government, and many people have fought and died just for us to speak out and actually be heard!

Also: I have an interesting story. � There’s some hits out there under Wallis or BNSF or Walk for Democracy.
