I have a giant stack of these “Sorry for what you’re going through, but we can’t help” letters. They are the only reason I started this campaign- because I have literally exhausted every remedy available to me as a citizen. The right to “petition the government for a redress of grievances” is all I have left, and I did it to save future generations the trouble. 

The DOJ also added this:

“While we don't have the capacity to take on each individual report, your report can help us find issues affecting multiple people or communities. It also helps us understand emerging trends and topics.”

Which sounds to ME like they’re just dying to hear more stories like mine. They want to hear YOURS!

This is a campaign of action! Nobody gets away with just a signature HERE. Wink! I added a link to contact the DOJ to the list of recipients of this petition. If you or someone you know is going through this hellish, immoral process, encourage them to describe what is happening to them to the DOJ. Write to your senators and representatives, too! If they ask, write on the behalf of victims. Listening to citizen complaints about unconstitutional acts occurring every single day is the JOB of the politician, but I think my case will prove that they have done the opposite, and not just to me. Ask Patty Murray!

This is the season for renewal. Let’s take a pledge to help 23 people and stand up for yourself 23 times in 2023, even if that means standing alone in public with a sign! Self-respect and the refusal to accept injustice is a magical thing. You shall see!
