It's really starting to take off now, but the more signatures we can collect, the harder we are to ignore. A petition will be a strong message, but to help councillors change their mind it helps if they hear directly from residents. If you have a minute, a great contribution would be to drop an email to cour councillor sharing your concerns. I've attached a list of town councillors with their email addresses below, but the key people to lobby are: Mike Badcock, Leader of the Council. He is the driving force behind this plan and his email address is michael.badcock@abingdon.gov.uk Dennis Garrett, Chairman of the Guildhall Committee. He is responsible for the Committee that 'manages' the Guildhall, and his email address is dennis.garrett@abingdon.gov.uk (on the website the first dot is missing but i think this is an error) The more emails they receive, the more they will realise the strength of public opinion.
