The recent Question 1 on the Nevada ballot was explained on the ballot in a vague and misleading way.  The citizens of Nevada deserved to have explained to them the devastating effects this measure will have on law abiding citizens before voting, but that was not accomplished.

This legislation does nothing to enhance crime prevention in Nevada.  It does, however, outlaw common practices followed by otherwise law abiding citizens.  This legislation is an outright attempt to turn law abiding citizens into felons, thereby making it illegal for them to own guns.

This legislation was voted against in every county in Nevada except one.  One county should not be allowed to make policy in opposition of the entire rest of the state.
