Peter J. Goicoechea is an American politician and a dedicated member of the Republican Party. He has been serving as the Nevada State Senator from the 19th district since 2012. Before his tenure in the State Senate, Goicoechea was a member of the Nevada Assembly, representing the 35th district from 2002 to 2012. During his time in the Assembly, he held the position of House Minority Leader from 2009 to 2012.
