AACC College President Dawn Lindsay will be retiring at the end of the spring semester. The AACC Board of Trustees, led by Chairperson Nadine Chien, is currently seeking a new president. This is an opportunity to make your voice heard as to the kind of leader you want AACC to have. Please email Dr. Chien at boardchair@aacc.edu . This is the letter I sent. I will also write to local leaders and anyone I can think of. Please also forward the petition to friends and students.

Dear Chairperson Chien,

    I have been working with my fellow Anne Arundel Community College classmates over the past year on the issue of increased class minimums and the effect this policy has on the school.

    As the board seeks a new president, I hope you will strongly consider a leader who will include faculty, students and the wider community in decisions, especially those that will change the character of the school.
