We were hoping to have one student speak at the board of trustees meeting on September 9. We requested an invitation for AACC plant science major and Super Science Club president Alex Bradford to speak about her experience last year with the minimum class change from 10 to 12. The board’s reply was that Ms. Bradford is a member of the public and members of the public are not invited or allowed to speak at the meeting. We can however submit a letter of up to 2 pages to be given to the trustees. I encourage all of you who signed this petition to send a letter to the board. Can you imagine if they received hundreds of letters? It would be like the courtroom scene at the end of a Miracle on 34th st. And a miracle is what we need now. Please submit your letter by this Friday, September 5 to boardchair@aacc.edu
