AAA: Stop scamming, bullying and taking advantage of vulnerable policyholders
The Issue
In June 2023, my property was burglarized. I did everything right - reported the incident, submitted all necessary documents to AAA insurance company. However, instead of receiving the prompt assistance and respect that every customer deserves, I was met with a wall of silence and disrespect that seemed to be linked to my ethnicity and sex - a minority women. My requests were ignored; responses were delayed beyond legal timeframes; facts about my case were misrepresented; and legal tactics were used in an attempt to bully me into forfeiting my rights.
AAA acted like scammer. They behaved suspiciously, avoiding calls and neglecting emails, fabricating absurd excuses. Promised callbacks that never happened, feigned incompetence with PDFs and how to zoom in on digital pictures, insisting on receiving physical copies of 8x10 prints for numerous stolen items. They are quick to take and increase our Insurnace premium. But when it’s time for them to deliver what they promised for, they acted like a scammer!
This is not just about me - it's about all vulnerable Policyholders who are treated unfairly by AAA insurance company in a time of need. This treatment is not only unethical but also illegal under federal laws prohibiting discrimination based on race or ethnicity (Civil Rights Act of 1964). Yet, there are countless stories like mine from disadvantaged customers who have been treated unfairly by this company.
We demand that AAA Insurance Company takes immediate steps to rectify this situation by ensuring fair treatment for all its customers regardless of their ethnic background. They must promptly respond to claims, treat their customers with respect, provide accurate information regarding coverage decisions within legal timeframes without resorting to bullying tactics.
It's time for change! Sign this petition if you believe in equal treatment for everyone regardless of their age, sex, social status, ethnicity or race!
