We need a safe place for those addicted to drugs and, or , alcohol. A safe place for those on our streets. A place that is friendly and they can get a meal. And be watched over by trained staff. Belfast has seem a rise of young people not excludively overdosing on cocktails of drugs and alcohol. They have been through enough and too many lives have already been lost. We need a multi angle , multi layered approach to this continuing crisis on our streets and the root causes of homelessness. What has worked for others on getting of the street and sharing and hearing these stories, people who were in similar situations. We need to listen to these life stories of there lives, and and as general public be mindful and respectful of our homeless. As this has the porential to be worse and can happen to anyone at anytime. A son a daughter a friend. And also ask yourself how many lives have to go so early in life? Thry deserve better and to be shown better. Please open your eyes to this and sign and share this petition up and down towns and villages and cities. This isn't a joke it serious, its lives, and lives matter, all lives matter. These people didn't just become homeless, there is always a story and joyrney. People fall through cracks in our society for all sorts of reasons, poor education, broken families, drug and, or alcohol, crime, abuse the list goes on and on. We need to tackle this before itself becomes a pandemic.
