Hello, Mr. President!
I am writing to you from Ukraine. I dream that you will hear the opinion of our strong and patient people.
The most frightening time in my life was during the first days of the war, and the second time I became afraid to live was when I realized that international law no longer governs the world. I read the points of the peace plan and it made me very scared.

According to this plan, Ukraine must sacrifice its territories for the sake of collective world security. BUT THIS IS NOT FAIR! AND IT IS NOT LEGAL!

In 1994, in Budapest, we were promised protection of our territories and sovereignty if we gave up our nuclear weapons and never created them again.  We fulfilled our part of the agreement. And that was Ukraine's mistake, because our guarantor betrayed us.  Russia took our lands by force, and no one has returned them to us yet.  It is very sad for Ukrainians to know that we gave up our nuclear weapons in vain,  that we were honest in vain and fulfilled the conditions of international law. 
We have always acted lawfully!  Always!
And Russia included our territories in its constitution.  THIS IS NOT LEGAL! AND THIS IS NOT HONEST!

We united with the Russian Federation in 1922 in vain, because when we wanted to secede again, they did not want to let us go! They really liked sharing the glorious history of Kievan Rus with us, and they deceived the whole world by saying that we are separatists and that our lands are their lands. But that's not true!  We don't want to give up Donbas  — they are forcing us to hold a referendum on the territories, which is prohibited by our constitution! AND THAT IS WHY IT IS NOT LEGAL!  IT IS NOT FAIR!

The Russians are terrorists who attacked us illegally!!!
WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH RUSSIA, MR. PRESIDENT, WE ARE DEFENDING OURSELVES FROM RUSSIA! 
WE DO NOT WANT TO FIGHT — WE WANT TO DEFEND OUR COUNTRY! 
FOR THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE, THE END OF THE WAR IS NOT THE END OF COMBAT OPERATIONS. FOR THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE, THE END OF THE WAR IS THE RESTORATION OF PEACE IN UKRAINE IN ACCORDANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL LAW!

Russia is demanding elections during the war, but our brave defenders will not be able to run for office, SO THIS IS NOT LEGAL! AND THIS IS NOT FAIR!  

The Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant belongs only to Ukraine, and dividing it by force IS NOT FAIR!  AND THIS IS NOT LEGAL!

I do not understand why Ukraine deserves to be treated illegally. 

I am frightened by the prosperity of the Russian and Chinese dictatorships on Earth.
Today, I implore the most powerful person on the planet, US President Donald Trump, to give the world and Ukrainians just one gift: please restore international law to our planet and return Ukraine to Ukraine:

1. Help us regain our territories, which are enshrined in the UN Charter.
2. Do not force our government to violate the rules of our current constitution.
3. Do not recognize Crimea as Russian.
4. Allow us to use all types of your weapons to defend our country and to launch strikes that will help destroy the attackers.
