Our purpose and aspiration as True Aurovilians and legal stewards of this City of Dawn are straightforward, crystal clear and simple:

• Everyone in their uniqueness are welcome to visit and engage in Auroville, with the strict recognition also of our community's unique Vision-Goal as that of the Avatars Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Our Three Core Ideals in their integrality are clearly laid out HERE for all to carefully study, respect and consciously apply.
• All the supporting guidance of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother are accessible in print here in Auroville, in the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and affiliates national and international, and many other external sources, and freely available online HERE and many other sites.
• The Central Government of Mother India through Her Ministry of Education is an integral co-steward of Auroville as stipulated in our legislated Auroville Foundation Act, and is legally bound to protect and uphold our shared Vision-Goal towards its manifestation.
• The ongoing building and protection of our City in its entirety is a preparatory necessity as a unique sanctuary for the current and many more coming generations of aspiring True Aurovilians.
• This City of Dawn envisioned as a future-oriented car-free Garden City is a progressive living Educational Institution promulgating the unique Integral Supramental Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
