There are many heartbreaking AI-generated videos online that appear to show pets being abused, neglected, or mistreated. Even though these videos are not real, they look realistic and can be upsetting and disturbing to people of all ages. They have no place on social media.

These videos can cause emotional distress, spread fear, and make it harder to recognize real cases of animal abuse. Instead of creating harmful or disturbing content, AI should be used for positive purposes that help people and animals.

AI also uses valuable resources, such as electricity and water. These resources should be used wisely to create helpful and educational content rather than disturbing videos that cause unnecessary harm.

For these reasons, I believe YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms should remove and ban disturbing AI-generated videos that depict the abuse or mistreatment of animals.
