Senator Bill Nelson Refuses to Introduce Bill for Federal Recognition
Mar 10, 2014 — The Choctaw Indians in Mississppi Terrority now called West Florida or Panhandle, have been denied the Introduction of a Bill for Federal Recognition to the Choctaw Nation of Florida. This is how genocide has occurred against American Indians when they do not have a seat at the table making decisions for their autonomy. These are the Eastern Region Indians which have been wiped out by different authors and wrote out of history. We deserve the restoration of our identity as Choctaw American Indians and Our lands according to these laws and treaty made by congress:
“Application for Indemnity, For Being Deprived by Settlers of Reservations of the Choctaw Indians,” 1 February 1836, House Document no. 1415, 24th Cong. 2nd Sess. Ward’s register is found in “Land Claims, &c. Under 14th Article Choctaw Treaty,” 11 May 1836, House Report no. 663, 24th Cong., 1st Sess., 32-33.
A campaign to remove those persons from office who refuse to follow the law is a MUST. District 6 Florida.
