For over 50 years, Hueter’s Greenhouses has served as a valued place where the community comes together. What began as a local greenhouse has grown into a welcoming gathering place for families, friends, local small businesses, and the surrounding community. 

Since taking over the greenhouse in 2022, the current owners have worked tirelessly to improve the property while creating safe, family friendly events that support both the community and other local small businesses. Over the past several years, Hueter’s has hosted seasonal markets, workshops, pop ups, and community weekends that have brought together hundreds of small businesses, artists, food vendors, musicians, photographers, nonprofits, and families from across the area. 

These events are more than shopping experiences. They provide valuable opportunities for local makers and entrepreneurs to earn income, gain exposure, and connect with customers  they may not otherwise reach. They also offer affordable and enjoyable experiences close to home for families and community members. Many people now consider these weekends meaningful yearly traditions.

Hueter’s has continued investing heavily into improving operations and accommodating the growth of these events, including parking expansion, land improvements, event staffing, traffic coordination, and property upgrades. The owners remain committed to working in good faith with local government officials to ensure their greenhouse operations and seasonal promotions are conducted in a safe, orderly, and compliant manner.
