486 supporters strong. The United States House is about to vote on a school safety bill that will increase funding for schools to improve safety. State leaders and officials everywhere are looking for ways to make schools safer, even here in my home state of Vermont where we had a very close call a few weeks ago. Please read the attached CNN article. Thank you all for standing up for this. We want standardized lockdown alarm systems in all public schools in America. If we continue to push for these alarms and standards, we can have a national lockdown alarm code and regulations that would make sure that lockdown pull alarms are located throughout every hallway and classroom of every public school in this country.
