Venezuela is on its knees — devastated by decades of crisis, suffering, and broken dreams. After so much pain, division, and loss, our people desperately need a new beginning. Not just with words or promises, but with a powerful, visible symbol that unites us all and marks the rebirth of our nation.

We propose the adoption of a new national flag — a modern symbol that honors our past, reflects our present reality, and lights the path toward our future. A flag that represents all Venezuelans, across all territories, both inside the country and in the diaspora. A flag that synthesizes yesterday’s struggles, today’s resilience, and tomorrow’s hope.

Why a flag? Because symbols matter. An image can move hearts more deeply than a thousand speeches. History has shown that Venezuelans respond to powerful visual symbols of renewal. When a nation has been destroyed by one idea, it can only be rebuilt by another — and that new idea needs a banner under which all can rally.

This is not about erasing our history, but about transcending our failures and giving every Venezuelan — young and old, at home and abroad — a renewed sense of dignity, unity, and pride. A new flag can become the milestone that signals the end of the nightmare and the dawn of a modern, united Venezuela.

The proposal, developed with care and deep love for our land, draws from our shared roots while looking boldly toward the future. It seeks to represent the 28 million Venezuelans as one people under symbols of liberty, effort, and unbreakable will.

We call on the Venezuelan authorities — the National Assembly and the legitimate representatives of the Republic — to debate, adopt, and implement this symbolic renewal through law (text of Law also ready to full qnd formal evaluation).
