The Vision
​To the teams at Studio Trigger, A-1 Pictures, and CloverWorks:

​We, the global fans of Darling in the Franxx, are not asking for a remake or a rewrite of the original story. We are asking for a continuation.

​The finale of the series showed us a beautiful, bittersweet glimpse of Hiro and Zero Two’s souls returning to Earth hundreds of years in the future, meeting again as children under the cherry blossom tree. We want to see that story unfold.

​What the Fans Want to See
​We believe there is an incredible story to be told about their new lives in a peaceful world. Our vision for a second season or a special OVA series includes:

​A Soulmate Connection: Watching Hiro and Zero Two fall in love again in a modern, "slice-of-life" setting—proving that their bond transcends time and space.
​Fated Memories: A narrative where they slowly regain fragments of their past lives, creating a deep, emotional journey as they remember the sacrifices they made for humanity.
​The Power of Peace: Shifting the focus from mecha warfare to the emotional strength of the characters we fell in love with.
​Why Now?
​Years after the original release, the Darling in the Franxx community remains one of the most active and loyal fandoms in anime. We still create art, discuss the lore, and hope for a proper "happy ending" for our favorite protagonists.

​By signing this petition, we are showing the production committees and distributors (like Crunchyroll and Sony) that there is a massive, untapped market for a sequel. We don't need world-ending stakes—we just want to see Hiro and Zero Two find the happiness they earned.
