As a maternal grandmother... I have no rights to my grandkids. Taken away from the parents should mean that I would be their next of kin but here in Kentucky, the grandparents have no rights. In my opinion, that's not fair. Neither to the grandparents nor their grandchildren. Instead of being placed in a home that they know and with the people who love them... they were sent straight to foster care. I'm not sure how often this happens but in so many ways, it's wrong! My heart goes out to all this has happened to. In my opinion, it's time for a change! So, I'm asking you to join me and sign this petition. Thank you.
