Every day, many children and parents have to cross the northern section of Silver Street to get to primary and secondary schools.  Despite the road being fast and dangerous, there is no safe crossing.  Soon, 270 additional homes will be built with an access road onto this street, generating even more traffic.

This road needs a pedestrian crossing near Ivy Walk and St. Chad's Avenue and also speed reducing measures to make it safe for children to walk to school.
