We, as local residents of Ballyvass, Kilkea, Belan, Moone, Mullaghreelan, Ballinamona, Castledermot, Hobartstown in rural South Kildare and the surrounding areas, raise our voices against the planned construction of a biomethane plane in our idyllic rural setting. Our beloved locality is at risk of being disrupted by an industrial site unfit for the unique rural region treasured by our communities. 

Not only does this proposed project pose a threat to our peaceful way of life, but it also puts the Mullaghreelan woods, home to protected wildlife species, at severe risk. Kilkea Castle Hotel and Golf Resort, a favorite destination amongst locals and tourists alike, is also endangered by this intrusive plan.

The secondary country road set to host this operation is unsuited, substandard, and simply not designed to handle industrial traffic or the consequences of such an operation.

We kindly request a halt to the planned biomethane plane operation near our homes. We firmly believe there are more appropriate locations for such industrial projects that do not risk damaging the unique fabric of our rural communities. Thank you for your understanding and action.
