This morning, Thursday, March 21, 2024, during the 7 o'clock hour, yet another accident occurred at this very intersection—a location that has become synonymous with preventable mishaps. Had a 4-way stop been in place at the crossing of Lenape Unionville Road and Locust Grove Road, such an incident could have been entirely avoided. This accident is not an isolated event as you know but part of a disturbing pattern of numerous accidents that have plagued this intersection over the years.
 
I am continuing to email PennDOT (and Pocopson Township and other area representatives) with every car accident that happens here. I am urging PennDOT to reconsider its stance and align its priorities with the well-being of our residents. The cost of inaction is too great, measured in human lives and well-being rather than mere statistics. Our community deserves roads that are safe for everyone, and it is PennDOT’s responsibility to ensure this basic right is upheld.
