Yet another accident at this location on Saturday, November 5th around 10:00am.  I followed up with all of my contacts at PennDOT and Pocopson Township and got these responses:

The field review to determine if an all-way stop is warranted for the Lenape-Unionville Road and Locust Gove Road intersection has been completed.  We are currently reviewing the data and will send a response to the township in the next two weeks.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please give me a call.

Good morning Lynn and Tim,

You may have seen this mornings response from PennDot that the study has been completed and is now under analysis.  PennDot will provide their response to the Township within 2 weeks.  I have asked to have this expedited if possible.

We will issue this update to residents via our Constant Contact email.   It would be greatly appreciated if you could update your petition with this update, as well as encourage residents to signup for Constant Contact.  This can be done by going to www.pocopson.org and submitting the information in the pop-up contact box.

The Board of Supervisors and Township Staff are involved in many activities for the good of the community and we are working towards improving our communications.  Constant Contact is our current, real time, communication channel and we encourage residents to sign up.  Attending monthly Board of Supervisors Public Meetings or reading the post meeting minutes is also another great way for residents to stay informed of Township activities and decisions.

We will continue to monitor this situation with PennDot and report out the results as soon as we receive the report.

Thank you and have a great day,

Elaine
