Hi, today we went to the Los Angeles school board meeting in order to present our petition, and it looks like we weren’t going to have a chance to speak because they had already given a lot of places to a lot of people before hand that on the website they said they were not going to do. Finally after waiting for two hours, a lady actually try to speak twice… And they wouldn’t let her and I asked for her spot and they gave it to me… We had to ask… But they gave it to us… The message here is, that we have to be patient and persistent in trying to reach our goals… The goal today was to be able to present our petition before the school board and I think we were able to do that fairly well… The school board members that I made eye contact with during the presentation seemed to agree with what we were saying… And the reception in the room afterwards was positive.
