1$ refill option for hand crafted quenchers at Boston pizza

The Issue

Boston Pizza used to offer free refills on handcrafted quenchers, and while it was great for customers, it also created challenges for staff and the business. With so many people asking for free refills, servers were constantly running back and forth, which took up a lot of time and effort—time that could’ve been spent helping customers in other ways. From a business standpoint, I can see why they had to remove free refills.

But instead of losing this perk completely, why not bring it back in a way that works for everyone? A $1 refill option would still give customers an affordable way to enjoy their favorite drinks while making sure Boston Pizza isn’t losing money. It would also reduce the overwhelming demand on servers, making their jobs easier while keeping guests happy.

A $1 refill might not seem like much to most people, but to me, it represents something bigger. memories, tradition, and a time when something as simple as a drink refill meant unlimited good times. My uncle and I used to go to Boston Pizza every month, on fight nights and UFC main events, we’d be there with a plate full of wings and all the refills we wanted. It wasn’t just about the drinks, it was about feeling free, like we had the whole place to ourselves, crafting our own little adventures one refill at a time.
I understand why the business had to take it away from it being to much demand, too many customers taking advantage but bringing it back, even in some way, would mean more than just a good deal. It would bring back that sense of connection, that small but important piece of what made those nights special. It wasn’t just about the cost, it was about the experience, the feeling that we belonged there, that Boston Pizza was a place for moments that mattered.

This is about finding balance giving customers a reason to keep coming back while respecting the time and effort of the hardworking staff. If you agree that $1 refills would be a great middle ground, sign this petition and let’s show Boston Pizza that we care about both the experience and the business!
