It is with extreme disgust in our local and central politicians and bureaucrats    that the removal of these precious trees has begun!!! This is a tragic outcome of a lack of care for the environment by everyone who said no or ignored the request to save these trees!! 

This is a sad day for NZ and Auckland and Avondale and us.
