The Issue

宏志閣賣樓期限將至,合安卻再三拖延、未有依法召開業主大會。宏福苑居民既已遭遇​人禍​、喪失​家園,我們深信公義在於讓​居民有​尊嚴​、有​自主​;有​透過​法律​程序​參與談判、爭取​有利協議​的​權利;有​重新安居樂業​、重建​社區的機會。在​關乎四千人命運的緊急關頭,香港市民應當與宏福苑居民站在一起。

我們懇求香港政府情理兼顧,及採納下列建議:

一、介入及協助合安立即召開業主大會;

二、按居民意願​原址重建宏福苑;

三、允許宏福苑居民自由選擇​原址回遷或「樓換樓」重置;及

四、承諾不會強拍或收回宏福苑,並撤回賣樓期限。

Residents of Wang Chi House are facing an imminent deadline to confirm their intention to sell their property. Sadly, Hop On Management Company Ltd. has thus far refused to convene a general meeting for Wang Fuk Court residents before the legally required date. This concerns every affected residents' right to subsistence. They are entitled to attempt a favourable settlement, to represent their interests as insured by law in recognised procedural form, and to a right to satisfy their needs for their resumption of normal life. Prosperity for Hong Kong can only mean prosperity for all. For this we plead to the HKSAR government:

1. To offer Hop On Management Company Ltd. all assistance possible such that a general meeting of Wang Fuk Court residents be convened immediately;

2. ⁠To reconsider on-site redevelopment of Wang Fuk Court;

3. ⁠To guarantee the liberty of affected residents to choose between on-site resettlement and flat-swap arrangements;

4. ⁠To refrain from compulsory auction of affected residents' property, and to repeal the deadline for selling their flats.
