Yesterday, about a dozen people gathered near the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo to protest against the IOC's discriminatory treatment of Taiwan. The group included Taiwanese, Japanese, a Uighur, and myself (an American). Unexpectedly, all of the bystanders in the area were clapping their hands to applaud our actions.

Gold Medalist Wang Chi Lin Tells the World He Is From Taiwan (Not Chinese Taipei)

Badminton gold medalist Wang Chi Lin proudly announced on Facebook that he was from Taiwan. His Facebook post has gotten over 1 million likes, 10,000 shares, and 65,000 comments.
