Japan's public broadcaster, NHK, is standing up for Taiwan once again. In the Olympic medal tables, Taiwan is listed as "Taiwan," not Chinese Taipei. Taiwan News published a report about it HERE.

Predictably, the CCP has been exploding with rage, slinging false accusations, and whining about "hurt feelings." It claims that Japan is "playing dirty political tricks." 

The truth is that the CCP is the only one playing dirty political tricks, and Japan's handling of the matter has been noble and praiseworthy. The CCP's regular outbursts are uncivilized, childish, and deeply embarrassing to many mainland Chinese who don't want the world to see their country as a wacko, supersized version of North Korea. 

The CCP needs to stop this nonsense. It is disgraceful, and it is alienating to anyone whose head is screwed on right.
