Remove the Egyptian home internet fair usage policy
The Issue
It's almost 2022 and Egypt is one of 5 countries in the entire world that still applies a "fair usage policy" on the home internet plans. This policy isn't even fair at all.
The packages start with a 140GB monthly quota and with an expensive price. The speed gets throttled to 256Kbps once the quota is drained which is totally unusable!
The internet is supposed to be a human right since everything depends on it now, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Studying, working from home, entertainment or whatever... Everything depends on the internet these days.
The size of the worst video game can reach 50GB in our current generation.
This is completely unacceptable and we're seeking for a change
