Κείμενο υπογραφών πολιτών ενάντια στα «αιολικά πάρκα»

ισχύος 84 (2Χ42)MW στις «ΠΕΡΙΒΛΕΠΤΟΝ» και «ΣΩΡΙΑΣΤΟΝ»

της Δ.Ε. Πάργας, του Δήμου Πάργας της Π.Ε. Πρέβεζας, Περιφέρειας Ηπείρου

Εμείς που υπογράφουμε το παρόν κείμενο είμαστε αντίθετοι στην εγκατάσταση δύο ακόμη «αιολικών πάρκων» ισχύος 84 (2Χ42)MW και στη απαράδεκτη σχετική ΜΠΕ, που παρουσιάζει πολλές σημαντικές και ουσιώδεις ελλείψεις, στις θέσεις «ΠΕΡΙΒΛΕΠΤΟΝ» και «ΣΩΡΙΑΣΤΟΝ» της Δ.Ε. Πάργας, του Δήμου Πάργας της Π.Ε. Πρέβεζας, Περιφέρειας Ηπείρου.

Οι ανεμογεννήτριες αυτές, με πολλές άλλες που έχουν αδειοδοτηθεί ή είναι υπό αδειοδότηση στη ίδια περιοχή, «στεφανώνουν» τραυματικά την λοφοσειρά πάνω από την Πάργα, την Ανθούσα, είναι πάνω-δίπλα και μπροστά από τον παραδοσιακό οικισμό της Αγιάς («μπαλκόνι του Ιονίου»), πάνω και πολύ κοντά από τις απείρου κάλλους παραλίες «Σαρακήνικο» και «Καραβοστάσι», σε πολύ μικρή απόσταση από αρχαιολογικούς χώρους «Δυμόκαστρο» και «Παλιόπαργα», μέσα σε πυκνή παρθένα βλάστηση, με πλούσια πανίδα, ορνιθοπανίδα και χλωρίδα, σε ιδιόκτητες εκτάσεις με υπεραιωνόβια ελαιόδενδρα, ορατές από την θάλασσα και από όλους τους οικισμούς Πάργας, Ανθούσας, Τρίκορφου, Πέρδικας, από τα Κάστρα Πάργας, Ανθούσας-Αγιάς.

Μιλάμε για μια περιοχή ιδιαίτερου φυσικού κάλλους, από τους πιο παλιούς ιστορικούς τουριστικούς προορισμούς, μια από τις «ναυαρχίδες» του τουρισμού της Πρέβεζας και όλης της Ελλάδας.

Είναι προφανές ότι η εγκατάσταση 12 ακόμη τεράστιων ανεμογεννητριών συνολικού ύψους 200μ. και τα συνοδά έργα, αναφερόμενα ή «αποσιωπούμενα» από την ΜΠΕ, θα προκαλέσουν μια ανεπανόρθωτη βλάβη στο φυσικό περιβάλλον της περιοχής, μια τεράστια αισθητική υποβάθμιση και οπτική όχληση, καταστροφικό πλήγμα στον τουρισμό, στην γεωργία και στην κτηνοτροφία, σε ό,τι μας έχει απομείνει για να ζούμε και να απολαμβάνουμε αυτήν την περιοχή, στην ίδια μας την ζωή.

Πέρα από τα κέρδη κάποιων «επενδυτών» στην «πράσινη ανάπτυξη» - «πράσινα άλογα» κανένα όφελος δεν θα έχει για τον τόπο και του πολίτες μας, που πληρώνουμε πανάκριβα το ρεύμα ένα δημόσιο αγαθό, βορά στο Χρηματιστήριο της ενέργειας, απεναντίας μετά από λίγα χρόνια θα μας αφήσουν τα κουφάρια των Α/Γ, σε ένα πληγωμένο ανεπανόρθωτα, εφιαλτικό τοπίο.

Στην «επιχείρηση» αυτή έχει ταχθεί ενάντια με ομόφωνες αποφάσεις όλη η τοπική κοινωνία, ο Δήμος Πάργας και οι Τοπικές Κοινότητες, Πολιτιστικοί και άλλοι Σύλλογοι και Σωματεία.

Ζητάμε να μην εγκριθούν οι σχετικές ΜΠΕ, να μην αδειοδοτηθούν αυτές οι βιομηχανικές ουσιαστικά εγκαταστάσεις και δηλώνουμε ότι θα αγωνιστούμε όλοι μαζί οι κάτοικοι, ενωμένοι, με κάθε τρόπο, ενάντια σε αυτά καταστροφικά σχέδια και ζητάμε την αλληλεγγύη κάθε πολίτη που έχει γνωρίσει και αγαπάει αυτόν τον τόπο.

Petition by Citizens Against the Installation of Wind Farms

84 MW (2x42 MW) at “Perivlepton” and “Soriaston”
Municipal Unit of Parga, Municipality of Parga, Regional Unit of Preveza, Region of Epirus, Greece

We, the undersigned, oppose the installation of two additional wind farms with a total capacity of 84 MW (2x42 MW), as well as the unacceptable Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which presents significant and substantial deficiencies, at the locations “Perivlepton” and “Soriaston” in the Municipal Unit of Parga, Municipality of Parga, Regional Unit of Preveza, Region of Epirus, Greece.

These wind turbines, along with many others that have already been licensed or are in the process of licensing in the same area, will severely and irreversibly impact the ridge above Parga and Anthousa. They are planned directly above, next to, and in front of the traditional settlement of Agia (“the balcony of the Ionian”), and very close to the stunning beaches of Sarakiniko and Karavostasi. They are also located at a very short distance from important archaeological sites such as Dymokastro and Palioparga, within dense, untouched vegetation rich in wildlife, birdlife, and flora, as well as privately owned land with centuries-old olive trees. These installations will be visible from the sea and from all surrounding settlements, including Parga, Anthousa, Trikorfo, and Perdika, as well as from the castles of Parga and Anthousa-Agia.

We are talking about an area of exceptional natural beauty, one of the oldest historic tourist destinations, and a flagship location for tourism in Preveza and all of Greece.

It is evident that the installation of 12 additional massive wind turbines, each reaching a total height of 200 meters, along with their associated infrastructure—whether explicitly mentioned or omitted in the EIA—will cause irreversible damage to the natural environment. It will lead to severe visual and aesthetic degradation and deliver a devastating blow to tourism, agriculture, and livestock farming—threatening everything that sustains our livelihoods and our quality of life in this region.

Beyond the profits of certain “green development” investors, this project offers no real benefit to our community. On the contrary, citizens already pay extremely high electricity costs for what should be a public good, now subject to energy market speculation. In a few years, what will remain are the abandoned structures of these turbines, leaving behind a permanently scarred and degraded landscape.

This project has already been unanimously opposed by the entire local community, including the Municipality of Parga, local communities, cultural associations, and various organizations.

We call for the rejection of the relevant Environmental Impact Assessments, the denial of permits for these essentially industrial installations, and we declare that we, the residents, will stand united and fight by all means against these destructive plans. We also call on every citizen who has experienced and loves this place to stand in solidarity with us.
