The proposed new harbor would close the view of the Bay from Marina Green, impacting residents, tourists and families who enjoy this beautiful space.

The Bay is one of San Francisco’s most iconic features and it is important that we preserve its beauty for future generations. The Marina Green is a place where many come to enjoy the views and proximity of the ocean. The boat harbor would severely degrade Marina Green, for no obvious benefit to the community.

The proposed boat harbor would not only obstruct the view of the Bay but also cause environmental damage to the surrounding area.

The process has started but it is still time to take action and oppose the plan. it is legitimate to clean up the toxic area in the current East Harbor, but this should not be a pretext for building a new harbor under the guise of renovation.
