A young man was unjustly imprisoned on false charges from said woman, Wanetta Gibson at an high school in Long Beach, CA in 2002. Brian Banks was a high school student that excelled on the football field, had a chance to go to USC on a full scholarship. Unitil his dream of gridiron greatness was dashed by a selfish and opportunistic girl that filed false rape charges against this young man. Mr. Banks spent 5 years in prison and 5 years of probation. Ms. Gibson the sued the Los angeles School District and fraudulently received a settlement of $1.5 million. Mr. Banks have been recently exonerated from his felony conviction by outsmarting ms Gibson into giving investigators a partial confession on video tape. This is a miscarriage of justice on a young man that had big dreams but that was taken away by a selfish being and I cannot in good conscious let this woman get away with her actions. The taxpayers of California should be livid that someone would steal money from the state and ruined a young mans life in the process.
