It’s fair season in many parts of the United States where animals often become a spectacle for adults and children. I’ve witnessed pregnant cows being taken from their homes to display a live birth in front of bright lights and loud noises for entertainment. I have even witnessed a tiger have a seizure while being held captive in a very small enclosure while parents and children watched in horror. The more we lend our voices and speak out, the sooner we can end the animal cruelty and neglect at all state fairs.
