Tracy Murphree is a dedicated public servant with a robust career in law enforcement. Beginning as a State Trooper with the Texas Highway Patrol, Murphree honed his skills in public safety and enforcement. He then advanced to Narcotics Investigator at Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), where he tackled complex drug-related cases. Demonstrating leadership, he served as Sergeant in the Highway Patrol before becoming a Texas Ranger, a prestigious role in the state's law enforcement hierarchy. Murphree's expertise expanded further as he became a Captain in the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) at the Denton County Sheriff's Office. He also contributed to Business Development in Law Enforcement at Paladin and worked as a Private Investigator at Prime Investigations. Currently, he serves as the Sheriff of Denton County, where he continues to uphold justice and community safety.
