Tommy Land is an American businessman and politician serving as the Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands since January 2019, having been elected on November 6, 2018, and re-elected in 2022. A member of the Republican Party, he has a background rooted in business and telecommunications. Land graduated from Heber Springs High School. His professional career includes roles as a Sales Agent at Remax Advantage in Heber Springs and as an employee at Southwestern Bell Telephone, now AT&T. He also owned and operated Heber Springs Communications. His business acumen and dedication to public service have distinguished his tenure as Commissioner, where he continues to focus on land management and fostering responsible development in Arkansas.
