Tom Ramsey is an American former professional football player known for his career as a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played for six seasons with the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. Before joining the NFL, he began his professional football career with the Los Angeles Express and the Oakland Invaders in the United States Football League (USFL). Ramsey played college football for the UCLA Bruins. Academically, he earned a Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
