Shannon Lee Grove is an American politician affiliated with the Republican Party. She serves as the representative for California's 12th State Senatorial district, covering the southern Central Valley and parts of the High Desert. Grove was the minority leader of the California State Senate from 2019 to 2021. Her political career includes serving as a member of the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012 and again from 2012 to 2016, before being elected to the State Senate in 2018. An Arvin High School graduate, Grove is also a U.S. Army veteran and the founder and CEO of Continental Labor & Staffing Resources. Her extensive experience in both politics and business underscores her commitment to public service and economic development.
