Rick Allen Schwieger is an accomplished American sports journalist and announcer known for his extensive career in broadcasting. As a former television personality, he gained recognition as the lead play-by-play commentator for NASCAR's Xfinity Series on NBC Sports. His expertise extended to interim roles with the International Motor Sports Association and coverage of track and field events for NBC Sports. Before joining NBC, Rick provided play-by-play commentary for Fox Sports’ coverage of NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series. Academically, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction from Auburn University’s School of Architecture and Fine Arts and graduated from Evans High School. Additionally, he has experience as a business owner at RW Allen & Associates and served as a Representative for District 12 in the U.S. House of Representatives.
