In response to this issue, Sen. Lynch Prata and I have introduced legislation (2018-H 7045) into both chambers of Rhode Island's General Assembly that would amend the current law to include hunting dogs.

Thank you to our animal friends from all over North America! The pit bulls in question here are allegedly being used as “hunting dogs” and the owner allegedly sells them down South to hunt wild boar. Yet, he claims, these dogs have to be acclimated...

I do not support H 5287 or S 178. No animal should be categorized or punished because of irresponsible owners, trainers or breeders.
