Purzycki's early career included a stint as a professional football player with the New York Giants. Transitioning from sports to law, he served as an attorney for the Delaware State Senate. He later made significant contributions to urban development as part of the Riverfront Development Corporation, focusing on real estate sales and development. In addition to these roles, Purzycki has been actively involved in local governance, serving as a councilmember for New Castle County Council, where he contributed to community and policy development.
