Mark Carnevale is an American politician currently serving as the Mayor of Cathedral City, California. He has a significant history of public service within the city government and has been actively involved in various community initiatives. Carnevale was sworn in as mayor on December 13, 2023. His election to this position followed his long-standing service on the City Council, where he was first elected in November 2014. He has served multiple terms, including a previous appointment as mayor in January 2019 following the passing of former Mayor Gregory S. Pettis.
